To help me set goals and achieve them, I have laid out a basic road map for the next two years. Some things have a deadline and some do not.
- Restart VFR events – May 2025 – IVAO
The restarting of events is important, The plan is to fly tours, that way we double up on awards, people can get the prize for the tour from IVAO and VACS.
- Start VFR events on Vatsim – Some point in 2025
To help us expand, we need to cover both networks. Starting events on Vatsim will help us reach more people and hopefully grow. No time frame on this, but I would like to start them before the end of 2025.
- Create introductory videos and tutorial videos explaining VACS and how to get started, and how it all works – May 2025.
Work has already started on this with me recording some test footage and learning how to use Divinci Resolve editing software. The videos will be rought as follows.

- METAR and TAF
- Flying a VFR circuit
- Airspace
- Rework the flight planning tool so it incorporates the new airport database where it can. – Aug 2025.
