Hello all it’s that time again when I update you on what has happened.

Tours

I have been working on revamping the tour system, this will not affect you much as it is mostly back-end stuff, I have made it so it’s easy for admins to add and manage tours and reduced the workload it takes to add a tour it all very boring backend stuff so I will leave it at that, if you have questions you’re more than welcome to ask when you see me on discord. The upside is that in future of we have people interested in helping plan and setup tours, they will be able to access the tours system separately from the main admin parts.

I am still testing the new system, once I am sure it’s all working how I want it I shall roll it out onto the live website, i am hoping to do this next week.

Airport Wiki

I have also been working on a kind of airport wiki but focused on the smaller airports.
The information provided will vary per airport but so far.

• Airport name and ICAO.
• Airport Elevation and QFE.
• Circuit height-direction and if based on QFE/QHN ( I have tried to use real information where possible, if not able to source information I have looked at the surrounding area and done circuits away from tours, villages etc.
• Runway information, length, width.
• Scenery Links
• Website links
• Video links

Please note that this is not a quick few days job it will probably take months to add all the data, if you are interested in helping add data please let me know.

IVAO Affiliation

I have started the ball rolling on getting us affiliated with IVAO so we can advise on the network.
More on this once I know more.
