FSHub.io

We have moved to integrate FSHub into VACs as the primary PIREP/Flight Tracking software, you do not have to use FShub if you do not wish, however, if you want to fly tours you will require it as this is what we use to validate you have flown the leg. We also have some stats and flight logs on your VACs pilot profile. Again if you want information to show then you will be required to use fshub and if not then it’s up to you.

Step 1

Visit https://fshub.io and click the download now button on the right side.

Step 2

While downloading, click “Register” on the top right and fill out the requested information. It asks for an email address and then will email you a link so you can create a password.

Step 3

Next, you need to join the group due to VAC already taken we have had to reserve. Not showing in the image but above Virtual Aero Clubs CAV you will see a blue button saying join. Click the button and follow any instructions and you will be accepted once we check your identity matches.

Step 4

Install the Landing Rate Monitor LRM like you would any other piece of software, once installed open click Edit and then Preferences.

Click Edit and then Preferences, and link your account top right, below that are some check boxes the first one is “Enable Virtual Airline features”? make sure that the box is checked, i also recommend you uncheck the disable logging of short flights second from the bottom and that you check the combine “touch and goes into a single report”. The options on the left are optional.

Next close the preferences window and press the sync button may take a few attempts but you will then be able to select CAV Virtual Aero Clubs from the dropdown menu.

This will send all your flight data to the website, flight data is updated on our website 3 times a day 8 hours apart so PIREPS will not be instantly validated.

You need FSUIPC7 in order for the LRM to work, you can get this free from https://www.fsuipc.com/ if running FS2020 you can just get the first link, note it will create a shortcut on your desktop to launch flight sim with FSUIPC7 delete this and just use the normal icon, LRM should say connected in green, if it does you should be good, any problems open a ticket on discord.

Step 5

Go to your dashboard, on the right hand top click your name then at the bottom click settings

On the page that loads click the second option down on the left “Options”

Your pilot ID is the big Orange number on the top right, put that number into the VACs website.
